– As seen last Friday on SmackDown, Matt Striker was replaced on the program’s announce team by the returning Booker T. He remains as a color commentator for the blue brand as he called tonight’s SmackDown matches on WWE Superstars, alongside Jack Korpela.

I guess he will only be commentating on Superstars. I guess. IMO he is a better commentator than Booker T.

Booker T's ok but we need Black Snow Lol, I like Matt Striker, he actually relates to the common fan by saying things such as "marking out" and doesn't say "Vintage" and "And I quote" all the time. It's Kevin Nash who needs to be a color commentator. He can't wrestle anymore. The man is one of the most naturally funny and witty guys in the wrestling business.Booker T can still have a second run in the ring IMO but he just doesn't have that distinct clear voice and personality of a color commentator. I'm guessing that Jerry Lawler will be done with WWE here shortly, and that Matt Striker may be sent to RAW in his place. They've been pushing the whole "hit Michael Cole and you're fired" thing pretty strongly in the last couple of weeks, and with Lawler's program with Miz, I think they could come up with a reason for Lawler to hit Cole. I suspect that is also why The King is on somewhat of an in ring run here lately. I believe he is calling it soon. While he was great in his time he doesn't seem to fit in with the current times of the WWE. There was a time when he was my all time favorite color analyst, but that time is long gone. I like the new breed of commentators and as the old saying goes: Out with the old and in with the new.
